To be eligible to submit articles to Marketing-Seek, you need to have a membership account. You may register for a free account: click here. After registration is complete, a welcome message will be sent to your e-mail address, which will contain your account password. After logging in, you may start submitting no more than 1-2 articles per week.
You can add a photo to your submitted articles using the photograph submission form. This is a two-step process where you'll upload a photo first and afterwards submit the "file name" associated with it to help us locate the correct file.
Grammatical errors can be fixed by sending the revised article to Marketing-Seek. Login to your member account and click the link to submit an article. When the form asks for the title of your article, simply type the same title followed by the word [Update] to notify us that this is an edited article for a previously submitted one.
Unlike most other article repositories, Marketing-Seek.com is still managed by hand rather than automated software. This means, each written piece is read for clarity and comprehension. If your article is accepted for publication, it will normally be posted within 72 hours.
Use our Advanced Search function and enter your name into the blue keyword box and click the "search" button. Any articles submitted to Marketing-Seek, by your name, will show on the results page.
Due to the high volume of daily article submissions, it's virtually impossible for us to fix spelling or grammar mistakes. Your articles must use proper English: grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure. If the English language is not your native tongue, we advise you to consider having articles proofed by a professional, who has English as their native language, before you submit your articles to Marketing-Seek.
If you were simply to finish your article on point #7 of a list of tips, your readers would feel they were left hanging. It's just human nature to crave a satisfying ending to a story! It's better to leave them on a sweeter note by sharing how they can best use the information to their advantage, and offer a few words of encouragement.
A resource box is an identifier paragraph at the end of the article, usually comprised with 6 lines of text - or no more than 40 words. This box allows authors to take a bow and share something about themselves or their business, and invite readers to take an action.
When we first started writing articles for the Net, we included our eMail address as a means for people to contact us easily. However, unless you love the idea of getting your eMail address harvested by spambots, I suggest you remove your eMail address from your article resource box. You can easily provide a web form URL in its place to direct people to your contact information.

The introduction (lead-in paragraph) is where you set the tone for the entire article and should contain the nugget of your story. Without a great introduction, you fail to "hook" (or guide) the reader to the meatier section of your written piece.
These are links leading back to your website or to an affiliate program from within the body of your article. Since self-serving links benefit you more than they benefit the reader - remove them. Instead, use your article resource box to shine the spotlight on you and your business.
Multiple copies of the same article would congest the databank and upset the people who have come to rely on us for high-quality content. Therefore, we do not accept articles that are either bought as part of a bundled package, shared from within an affiliate program, or found in the public domain. Articles written for you by a ghost writer, whereas you hold an "exclusive license" as the ONLY author name associated with the written piece, are acceptable. Additionally, any articles written by you are encouraged and considered for our archives.
We do not accept article submissions that use automated software. Allowing you to post articles at Marketing-Seek, with this software, while other authors may not be able to afford to purchase it -- gives you an unfair advantage over others. We like to think we're an equal opportunity service and therefore do not consider submissions that are provided to us through third-party software.
Preformatted text is when you use forced carriage returns at the end of every sentence instead of allowing the text to wrap naturally. In HTML forced carriage returns are made possible by using the <"P"> and <"BR"> tags inside your article copy.
We do not accept preformatted articles (those with hard carriage returns) as it makes the approval process take longer because we need to remove each hard break manually; and, frankly, this wastes time. Instead, you should submit your articles without hard line breaks and allow us to apply the proper formatting to your article.
An ideal article must hold a minimum of 300 words and no more than 750 words; however, the maximum amount of words currently accepted is 2,500 words per article. If your article is longer than 1,000 words, we encourage you to turn it into an article series and submit it in this fashion.
Due to the excessive usage of affiliate links, we no longer accept articles that hold obvious affiliate links. Your article must be an original piece and not shared among a group of affiliate marketers. You must be the sole owner of the article being submitted. (See "Why must my article be an original piece?") -- Additionally, if your resource box is not original, your article will be rejected.
If you work for the author and submit articles for him or her, please submit the article to Marketing-Seek as if it were submitted by the author. Include his or her first and last name as the sender, with a working e-mail address for the article author. (Please Note: The author MUST have a Marketing-Seek.com membership account BEFORE you submit any written work on his or her behalf; otherwise, the article will be rejected.)
Over time, you can share as many articles with our readers and publishers as you wish; however, please limit your article submissions to a maximum of two articles per week.
