Frequently Asked Questions

About Photo Submissions

Q. What if I don't want to submit my photograph?
We realize some writers are a little hesitant to send in their pictures. If you don't want to share a photograph, we understand and accept your decision.

Q. Can I swap my eBook cover for my photograph?
Unfortunately, not at this time.

Q. What size should my photograph be?
The size of your picture should be 80 pixels (width) by 105 pixels (height) in either JPG or GIF format. If at all possible, the overall size should be less than 7K.

Q. How do I share my picture with Marketing-Seek?
Members can share a picture using the photograph submission form. This is a two-step process: upload a photo first and afterwards submit the "file name" associated with it to help us locate the correct file.

Q. Can Marketing-Seek resize my photograph for me?
Resizing pictures takes time, so... it's best if you can send a photograph that's ready to use and doesn't need any adjustments.

Q. Can you remove the keyboard picture from my articles?
The keyboard picture is part of our page template and can be replaced with a genuine photograph of the author; otherwise, it must remain.

Q. How often should I submit my photograph?
Unless you want us to update an existing photograph, already displayed on the site, your photograph should be submitted to us once. It is not necessary to send your photograph with every article submission.
